Celebrating Art and Community in Erin
Launching June 20, 2026.
Plans are underway to hold an Arts Festival in the Town of Erin on June 20, 2026.
Centered on Main Street, Erin, it is anticipated that the festival will be a one day event with artists and artisans of varied backgrounds and experience showcasing their talents.
A feature focus of the festival will have artists engaged in painting live en plein air.
Completed paintings as part of this event will be juried with cash prizes to be awarded. Artists may use any medium of their choice - oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastels, pencil, pen, etc. All participants will provide their own materials.
Completed art may be sold or retained by the artist.
Also featured will be an extensive photography exhibition, a children’s creative arts exploration area in McMillan Park, a quilt display and an area for show and sale of works by artisans and crafters.
Food and refreshments will be hosted by Main Street businesses supplemented by mobile food vendors.
A beer tent will be provided, hopefully with live music, centred on the MSN Auto parking lot.
It is anticipated that this event will be held in conjunction with, and in celebration of, the opening of the new Wellington County Library. It is intended to be an affordable fun family event showcasing Main Street Erin and our incredible library.
Details are being finalized and will be announced early in 2026.
