Celebrating Art and Community in Erin

Launching June, 2026.

Plans are underway to hold an Arts Festival in the Town of Erin in June, 2026.

Centered on Main Street, Erin, it is anticipated that the festival will take place on a weekend in June with artists of varied backgrounds and experience showcasing their talents.

A feature focus of the festival will have artists engaged in painting live en plein air. Completed paintings as part of this event will be juried with cash prizes to be awarded. Artists may use any medium of their choice - oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastels, pencil, pen, etc. All participants will provide their own materials. Completed art may be sold or retained by the artist.

Photographers are most welcome to participate and will be judged in a separate category.

A separate children's creative art area will allow children of all ages to express their creativity.

A craft market will offer all manner of arts and crafts for sale to the public.

It is anticipated that this event will be held in conjunction with, and in celebration of, the opening of the new Wellington County Library in Erin.

Details are being finalized and will be announced early in 2026.
